چکیده
Nosemosis is one of the most dangerous infectious diseases honeybees in Azerbaijan and World. Nosema ceranae dominant species detected Azerbaijan, this study aimed to detect prevalence infection country. For purpose, an average 100 honeybee samples were collected from 64 hives, 24 three regions north 40 five areas south. In lab, abdomens 50 bees each group dissected crushed a container, adding ml distilled water. According obtained data after microscopic examination, N. spores found have high-level northern (45.8% average) than southern (22.5% Azerbaijan. Molecular diagnoses Nosema-positive already been made with PCR has all regions. Data show us that common significant thread beekeeping industry.

Infectivity and virulence of Nosema ceranae and Nosema apis in commercially available North American honey bees.
Nosema ceranae infection is ubiquitous in western honey bees, Apis mellifera, in the United States and the pathogen has apparently replaced Nosema apis in colonies nationwide. Displacement of N. apis suggests that N. ceranae has competitive advantages but N. ceranae was significantly less infective and less virulent than N. apis in commercially available lineages of honey bees in studies conduc...

Nosema diseases is known to have two infecting Apis mellifera, Nosema apis and Nosema ceranae. Historically N. apis was known to be well established pathogen of A. mellifera. Whoever N. ceranae was frequently reported to infect the honeybees during the last decade. Both N. apis and N. ceranae are now thought to be widespread across the world. Honey bees are also found to be co-infected with bot...

BACKGROUND The aim of this study was to determine the prevalence of the Nosema ceranae and Nosema apis among apiaries using both spore counts and multiplex PCR and the replacement of N. apis by N. ceranae in some regions of Turkey. METHODS A hundred honey bee samples were collected from 99 apiaries in 11 different locations in 2011-2012 in Turkey. Nosema infection degree from collected sample...
متن کاملIndividual Variability of Nosema ceranae Infections in Apis mellifera Colonies
Since 2006, beekeepers have reported increased losses of Apis mellifera colonies, and one factor that has been potentially implicated in these losses is the microsporidian Nosema ceranae. Since N. ceranae is a fairly recently discovered parasite, there is little knowledge of the variation in infection levels among individual workers within a colony. In this study we examined the levels of infec...
متن کاملColony Level Prevalence and Intensity of Nosema ceranae in Honey Bees (Apis mellifera L.)
Nosema ceranae is a widely prevalent microsporidian parasite in the western honey bee. There is considerable uncertainty regarding infection dynamics of this important pathogen in honey bee colonies. Understanding the infection dynamics at the colony level may aid in development of a reliable sampling protocol for N. ceranae diagnosis, and provide insights into efficient treatment strategies. T...
